CharWok is a library of 285 recipes and 34 cooking guides, published in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

The site focuses on practical technique, ingredient behavior, substitutions, storage, and troubleshooting for a home kitchen. Hand-drawn SVG line art remains the default.
A page is presented as a recipe only when its source includes recipe data. Missing timing, yield, or other details are omitted rather than filled in.
Titles, descriptions, links, and structured data are checked against the current page content. Recipe and guide routes are kept aligned across all three language versions.
Traditional and Simplified Chinese localize the same 319-route collection. Localization may adapt interface language and supported units without adding unsupported cooking facts.
CharWok is identified as the publisher on every recipe and guide. A personal byline is shown only when the author can be verified; no name is inferred from legacy metadata.
Confirmed content or route errors are corrected in the source and checked again in generated output. When an issue affects multiple language versions, each affected version is reviewed.
No public correction inbox is available yet. A verified contact method will be added here before CharWok asks readers to send reports.
CharWok loads Google Analytics 4 only after you allow analytics. It measures query-free page views and a small, allowlisted set of useful interactions. Custom events exclude raw search terms, email addresses, form text, and recipe inputs. The site has no advertising tracker, user account, or comments.
Your analytics choice is stored on this device so the site can remember it. If allowed, Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies and receive a query-free page path, page title, a limited referrer (a query-free path for CharWok pages or only the origin for another site), browser or device details, approximate location, and bounded interaction data. Google advertising signals and ad personalization stay disabled. Analytics also stays off when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled. You can reopen Analytics settings in the footer. Search words can still appear in the page URL and may be recorded by browsers, hosting infrastructure, or server logs, so do not enter personal information.
Brand font files are served from CharWok’s own domain and do not require an external font service. Requests to Google from CharWok pages are limited to the disclosed Analytics service. Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own practices.
CharWok publishes a correction or commercial contact only after the destination is verified. The Policies and disclosures page states whether that channel is currently active. Please do not use recipe search as a contact channel.
